Davy Lim

Davy Lim , the Founder and Director of Wyn Monde Singapore, is a seasoned expert in mechanical engineering, design, and human factors. With an MSc in Smart Product Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Design Specialization from Nanyang Technological University, he brings a rich educational foundation and a diverse skill set to his leadership role.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lim has held influential positions across various sectors:

  • Senior Sports Biomechanist at the Singapore Sports Institute (2004–2012), where he contributed to advancing sports science.
  • Lecturer at Temasek Polytechnic (2012–2014), shaping the next generation of engineers.
  • R&D Manager at the Institute of Sports Research, NTU Singapore (2014–2016), driving innovation in sports technology.
  • Assistant Director at the Soldier Systems Integration Laboratory, Singapore Army (2016–2019), focusing on integrating cutting-edge technology for defense applications.
  • Assistant Director at the Ministry of Defence, Singapore (2019–2021), where he managed critical projects and system developments.
  • Secretary of the Human Factors Ergonomics Society Singapore (2018–2020), promoting ergonomics and user-centered design.
  • Currently an Associate Faculty member at Singapore University of Social Sciences (2024–present), sharing his expertise with future leaders.

Leveraging the capabilities of CONTEMPLAS Analysis Systems, movement data is captured in real-time using the latest video technology. By combining this with synchronized dynamic measurements, new insights into human movement are unlocked. Singapore Sport Hub

The OCBC Aquatic Centre, a world-class facility in Singapore, is designed to meet International Swimming Federation standards.

As part of this project, 12 cameras were installed and maintained to capture high-precision video footage for movement analysis above and below the water. This setup empowers coaches and athletes to optimize training strategies and achieve sustainable performance enhancements.

As part of this initiative, an underwater camera system from Contemplas was implemented, enabling the club to analyse performance for aquatic competitions, hydrotherapy, or general fitness activities.
